Gautam Gambhir Reveals India Preparations for Champions trophy

Gautam gambhir on champions trophy: India defeated England 4–1 in the T20 series. Team India has won the last match of the series played in Wankhede by a huge margin of 150 runs. Now the focus of the Indian team and coaching staff must have gone on a three -match ODI series and the Champions Trophy against England. The ODI series is to begin on February 6, while the Champions Trophy will start from 19 February. Now coach Gautam Gambhir has made it clear what kind of cricket Team India is going to play in the Champions Trophy?

Gautam Gambhir, while discussing after the fifth T20 match is over, said that the Indian team will play as aggressive as much as possible. He has made it clear that whatever the format, the Indian team will focus on playing aggressive cricket. Gambhir said, “We want to play more and more aggressive. We want to entertain the audience and are trying to play high-risk cricket.”

Gambhir also spoke on Virat and Rohit

Team India played only three ODIs in the year 2023. Now after about 7 months, India will take the ground to play an ODI. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli may not be able to perform well in Test matches, but both are called the king of ODI cricket. Coach Gautam Gambhir also has high expectations from Kohli and Rohit for the ODI series and the Champions Trophy.

Gautam Gambhir said, “We have 2 quality players (Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma), whose ODI records are excellent. Hopefully they will be able to do well, will be able to play cricket in an aggressive as well as cricket.” On the one hand, the first match of the ODI series against England will be played on 6 February, while Team India’s first collision in the Champions Trophy will be with Bangladesh on 20 February.
