Allu Arjun: Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun held a press conference for the first time yesterday after the stampede during the screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. Allu had responded to those who held him responsible for the woman who died in the stampede and the child who was admitted to the hospital.
Today, he has also appealed to his fans by posting from his Insta handle. Allu has requested the fans not to use any kind of derogatory language offline or online. Actually, after yesterday’s PC, many types of posts related to Allu Arjun are going viral on social media.
Allu Arjun made this special appeal
Allu Arjun has appealed to his fans and has written, “I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly as always and avoid any kind of abusive language or behaviour, whether online or offline.” Don’t resort to anything.
The Pushpa 2 actor further wrote, “If anyone makes derogatory posts with fake ID and fake profile, claiming to be my fan, then strict action will be taken against him.” I request my fans not to engage with such posts.
Allu had expressed his pain in a press conference
The issue of Sandhya theater stampede case was raised loudly in Telangana Assembly. AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi has targeted Allu Arjun inside the assembly. Apart from this, CM Revanth Reddy also said that the hero was careless and hence was not leaving the theater despite knowing about the death. After this, Allu held a press conference on 21 December.
Expressing grief over the accident in this press conference, Allu said, “It was an accident.” I express my sympathies to the family. I don’t want to blame anyone. This is my character assassination. A lot of wrong information is being spread. I apologize for whatever has happened. There was no road show, wrong information is being spread about this.
What was the matter?
On December 4, during the premiere of Pushpa 2, there was a stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. In which a woman died and her son had to be admitted to the ICU. Allu Arjun had expressed his grief by releasing a video on this matter and said that due to legal advice, he could not go to meet the victim’s family, but he promises to take care of the victim.
After the arrest of Allu Arjun in this stampede case on December 13, the lower court decided to send him to judicial custody for 14 days, immediately after which the Telangana High Court released Allu on interim bail for 4 weeks. Both the actor’s father Allu Aravind and Pushpa 2 director Sukumar have met the victim’s child.
