Allu Arjun: A woman was killed in a stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad on December 4. The deceased’s 8 year old son Shri Tej was injured and had to be admitted to the ICU. Now Allu Arjun has broken his silence on this matter.
Let us tell you that the issue of this stampede case was raised loudly in the Telangana Assembly. AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi has targeted Allu Arjun inside the assembly. Apart from this, CM Revanth Reddy also said that the hero was careless and hence was not leaving the theater despite knowing about the death.
What has Allu Arjun said?
The Pushpa 2 actor said during the press conference, “Allu Arjun, it was an accident. I express my sympathies to the family. I don’t want to blame anyone. This is my character assassination. A lot of wrong information is being spread. I apologize for whatever has happened. There was no road show, wrong information is being spread about this.
‘An attempt to destroy the respect earned in 20-21 years’
Apart from this, Allu also said that- I am being publicly humiliated. I have not come to oppose any department or any political party. There has been a communication gap. I should not be judged. I am not that kind of person. I have earned this respect in 20-21 years, an attempt is being made to destroy it with the incident of one evening.
Allu Arjun further said, “I have been to that theater many times before. Many types of wrong information are also being spread. There was a lot of crowd that day. The next day I came to know about this incident that a woman has died there. I was watching a movie with my children in that theater.
Allu said that he could not meet the victim’s family due to legal reasons.
Allu Arjun also told that- I told everyone that you should meet him. A case was filed against me the same day. That’s why I couldn’t meet him personally, there were legal reasons behind that.
While expressing his love for his fans, Allu Arjun has also said that he loves his fans and he wants to take care of that family and that child. Whatever I can do, I will definitely do it. All the allegations leveled against me are baseless.
What was the matter?
After the arrest of Allu Arjun on December 13 in the stampede case during the premiere of Pushpa 2, the lower court had decided to send him to judicial custody for 14 days. However, immediately after that decision, the Telangana High Court released him on interim bail for 4 weeks. Let us tell you that both Allu Arjun’s father Allu Arvind and Pushpa 2 director Sukumar have met the victim child.
