After this, when he looked at his second account, he found out that an illegal transaction of Rs 12,250 had taken place from his salary account also. The matter became worse when after that OTP came for a transaction of Rs 1.9 lakh from the gold loan account. He did not share this OTP with anyone, yet the transaction was completed. In this way he was cheated of Rs 2.2 lakh.
The fraudster had his eyes on the credit card also
The fraudsters did not stop here and tried to make transactions through his credit card as well, but the policeman showed promptness and got his account blocked immediately. In this way he was saved from further fraud. The police involved in the investigation said that the fraudster had made the victim a victim through an APK file containing malware. It was because of this that he was able to access different accounts of the victim.
