Ravi Kishan On Sending Daughter In Army: Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan has worked in more than 700 Bhojpuri films. He has also been a part of Hindi films and series. Apart from being an actor, he is also a leader. He is a BJP MP from Gorakhpur seat of UP. Recently, in a podcast, he revealed the real reason for taking the decision to send his daughter to the army.
While talking in Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Ravi Kishan talked about his daughter Ishita Shukla choosing army profession. He was asked that politicians are often accused of not sending their children to the army, so how did he send his daughter to the army. On this Ravi Kishan said that he too was not ready for this.
Daughter’s decision was to join the army
Ravi Kishan said- ‘I also did not want to send, why should I lie. No parent wants things to be too difficult. Training is very difficult. Everyone loves a daughter, the son is close to the mother and the daughter is close to the father. This was his own decision. On the question why Ravi Kishan did not try to stop his daughter, the actor said – ‘I had said why to do so, it is very difficult. You will become an NCC cadet, stay in Delhi for three years, become a sniper.
How should Ravi Kishan agree to send his daughter to the army?
The actor further said- ‘This is not easy, she had also marched on 26th January, in front of the Prime Minister, the name is Ishita Shukla. When I asked him why son, why do you want to become a soldier, he said why do you go to Parliament wearing a kurta. Here Baba calmed down and said, ‘Okay, go ahead.’
What do Ravi Kishan’s other children do?
Ravi Kishan further told that one of his children is an artist and the other daughter is studying share market. All his children are toppers. The actor revealed about himself that he could not complete his graduation. He was not a good student.
