IND vs AUS 2nd Adelaide Pink Ball Test: Team India’s start in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy being played in Adelaide was nothing special. The team lost four wickets in the first session. Mitchell Starc destroyed the Indian top order. Starc took the first three wickets, while the fourth success went to Scott Boland. Team India appeared to be in trouble right from the first ball of the match.
By the completion of the first session, Team India had scored 82/4 runs in 23 overs. During this, Mitchell Starc made Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli his victims. Whereas Boland sent Shubman to the pavilion.
India lost the wicket on the first ball
In the Adelaide Test, Team India won the toss and decided to bat. From India’s side, Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul took the responsibility of opening. Jaiswal took the strike into his hands. From Australia, the responsibility of the first over was handed over to Mitchell Starc. Starc sent Jaiswal to the pavilion on the very first ball.
After Jaiswal’s wicket, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill made a partnership of 69 runs for the second wicket. Starc broke this partnership by dismissing Rahul. Rahul scored 37 runs with the help of 6 fours. Then the next blow to Team India came in the form of Virat Kohli on the score of 77 runs. Kohli returned to the pavilion after scoring only 07 runs with the help of 1 four.
The matter did not end here. Then Scott Boland gave the fourth blow to Team India in the form of Shubman Gill on the score of 81 runs. Gill returned to the pavilion after scoring 31 runs with the help of 5 fours. In this way, Team India lost 4 wickets by the end of the first session. Now captain Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant are present at the crease. Now fans will expect good innings from Rohit and Pant.
