Actually Saif had said in reply, “I should pay attention to what I say.” Finding love is a blessing…I think after some time we all get into a relationship, but things change. When you are in love, you don’t even realize that you are two different people. You like some things about him and you respect him. You like someone like a friend, I want to be around you because I can’t be like you, even though that’s right!
So, yes, I think it’s a blessing, obviously lucky. I can well imagine that a lot of people don’t like the people they are stuck with after a while, you know! You can’t afford to keep getting divorced. You need a lot of money to keep giving.”

Saif gave alimony worth crores to Amrita after divorce
In an interview with Telegraph in 2005, Saif had revealed that “I had to give Rs 5 crore to Amrita, of which I had already given her about Rs 2.5 crore. Also, until my son turns 18, I am paying Rs 1 lakh every month. I have promised to repay the remaining amount even if I have to work hard in commercials, stage shows and films. Whatever I have earned is for my children. I have no money. Our bungalow is for Amrita and the children, never mind the relatives who have joined them after I left.”
