Urvil Patel Fastest T20 Hundred By Indian Batter: The mega auction for IPL 2025 took place on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia. Many players were bid in the auction, while many remained unsold. Urvil Patel’s name was also included among the unsold players. These days Urvil is playing for Gujarat in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024.
Urvil broke Rishabh Pant’s record by scoring a century in just 28 balls in the tournament. Now he became the batsman to score the fastest century in T20 cricket for India. Apart from this, he became the second batsman to score the fastest T20 century in the world. Pant had completed a century in 32 balls in the match played for Delhi against Himachal Pradesh in 2018.
Urvil played an inning of 113* runs in 35 balls with the help of 7 fours and 12 sixes. During this period his century was completed in only 28 balls. This brilliant inning came from his bat while chasing runs.
