Indian Premier League 2025 Mega Auction Details: The wait for the mega auction for IPL 2025 ended today (24 November). The mega auction for the tournament will be held on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia. Today will be the first day of the auction. This time a total of 577 players will be auctioned. Luck of 204 players will shine
A total of 577 players are participating in the auction, of which 367 are Indians and 210 are foreigners. Out of all the players participating in the auction, only 204 will be lucky. All the teams have vacant slots to buy 204 players, in which a maximum of 70 foreign players will be included. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see which players’ luck shines in the auction.
It is worth noting that a total of 1574 players had registered themselves for the auction, out of which 577 players were shortlisted for the auction.
The names of all 177 players will be called one by one in the auction. Then the acceleration round will start with the 118th player. First of all there will be two marquee sets in the auction. After this the number of the first set of capped players will come.
