IND vs NZ 3rd Mumbai Test: The third and last match of the three-match Test series is being played between India and New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In the match, New Zealand team got bundled out for 174 runs in its second innings, after which Team India got the target of 147 runs to win. Ravindra Jadeja opened the wicket during New Zealand’s second innings.
In the second innings for New Zealand, Will Young played the biggest innings, scoring 51 runs with the help of 2 fours and 1 six. A total of 6 batsmen of the team could not even reach double figures. In this innings, New Zealand batsmen appeared under pressure from the Indian bowlers.
Apart from Jadeja’s 5 wickets, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets for India. The remaining one success went to spinner Washington Sundar and a fast bowler Akashdeep.
Result expected on third day
Today is only the third day of the Mumbai Test and the result of the match is expected on the third day itself. After winning the toss, Team India came to bat and got all out for 235 runs on the very first day. Then on the second day of the match, Team India was all out for 263 runs and the New Zealand team, which came to bat in the second innings, had put 171/9 runs on the board by the end of the day.
Then at the beginning of the third day, Team India all out New Zealand for 174 runs. In this way, it is fully expected that the result will be declared in Mumbai Test on the third day itself.
Team India has lost the series
Let us tell you that India has lost the series after losing the first two matches. Team India had to face defeat by 8 wickets in the first test of the series played in Bengaluru. Then in the second test of the series played in Pune, New Zealand lost to Team India by 113 runs.
