Indian Team Announced for T20 Series South Africa: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the team for the upcoming T20 series against South Africa. The absence of Mayank Yadav and Shivam Dubey in the team is a matter of concern, who have not been included in the squad due to injury. BCCI also said in its statement that Riyan Parag has not been selected in the team, who is trying to recover from the injury in his right shoulder at the Board’s Center of Excellence.
Sanju Samson, who scored a century in 40 balls in the T20 series against Bangladesh, has currently reserved his place in the T20 team. On the other hand, Abhishek Sharma was also failing in the series against Bangladesh, but now he will have a chance to prove himself in South Africa. Abhishek could not play any big innings for India A even in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Varun Chakraborty made a comeback with his mystery bowling in the T20 series against Bangladesh and took 5 wickets. Yash Dayal, Vijay Kumar Vishak and Ramandeep Singh have also been selected in the squad, who can debut in this upcoming series.
