What was the earning of ‘Jigra’ on the 8th day?
Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ was the biggest Hindi film in Dussehra release. There was so much hype about the film that it seemed that it would create a stir at the box office. But this film was seen yearning for the audience in the theaters from the very first day. Not only this, on the opening day itself, the shows of the film were canceled at many places due to lack of audience. After this, there was a slight improvement in the film’s earnings on weekends but the collection of ‘Jigra’ decreased every day on weekdays.
At the same time, Divya Khosla, wife of actress and T-series owner Bhushan Kumar, had accused Alia of announcing fake collection. The story of the film was described as Divya’s Savi. Due to this also the box office performance of ‘Jigra’ has been affected.
Talking about the earnings of the film, it has been able to do a business of Rs 22.45 crore in the first week. In which it has earned 22.24 crores in Hindi whereas in Telugu the film could earn only 21 lakhs. Now the initial figures of the earnings of ‘Jigra’ on the 8th day of its release i.e. second Friday have come.
- According to Sacknilk’s early trend report, ‘Jigra’ has earned Rs 1.15 crore on the 8th day of its release i.e. second Friday.
- After this, the total earning of ‘Jigra’ in 8 days has now become Rs 23.60 crore.
Will ‘Jigra’ become Alia Bhatt’s lowest grossing film?
Alia Bhatt has given most of the box office hits in her career so far. Out of the 17 films of the actress released in theatres, 8 films have earned more than Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office.
