Sanju Samson 22 balls Fifty: In the third T20 match between India and Bangladesh, captain Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson have created havoc in the stadium in Hyderabad. Team India lost the first wicket early in the form of Abhishek Sharma, but after that Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav thrashed the bowlers and scored more than 100 runs on the scoreboard in just 7.1 overs.
Abhishek Sharma was out in the third over of the innings itself, but after that Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav took command. Earlier, India had made the highest score of 82 in the powerplay in any T20 match. India had scored 82 runs at the loss of 2 wickets against Scotland in 2021. Now Team India has improved its record by scoring 82 runs against Bangladesh in Hyderabad by losing only one wicket. Meanwhile, Samson has also scored fifty in just 22 balls.
Samson’s fastest fifty
Sanju Samson has made the record of being the Indian batsman who scored the fastest half-century against Bangladesh in the history of International T20 cricket. Before him, this record was in the name of Rohit Sharma, who had completed his half-century in 23 balls by thrashing the Bangladeshi bowlers in the year 2019. But Samson has achieved this feat in only 22 balls. However, Samson is far away from the record of scoring the fastest T20 fifty.
This is only the second fifty of Samson’s T20 career, which he was successful in converting into a century as well. He completed his century in 45 balls. Let us tell you that on the basis of brilliant innings of Samson and Suryakumar Yadav, Team India had scored 152 runs on the scoreboard in just 10 overs.
