Airlines Food: When we travel by paying expensive fares in airlines, we all expect that we will be provided better facilities. Something similar happened with a passenger who was going from Delhi to New York in an Air India flight. He alleges that the food served to him by the airline contained cockroaches. After this incident came on social media, Air India has apologized to the passenger and has also assured him of action.

Actually, Suyasha Sawant was given omelette in this international flight. A cockroach was found in it. After this, he wrote in his post on social media platform X that my two year old child ate this omelette. We came to know about the cockroach when it had eaten half of it. After this he got food poisoning. He has also posted its video and photo in his post. Besides, Air India, DGCA and Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu have also been tagged.
Air India apologized, assured action
As soon as this incident came to light, Air India spokesperson said that we are concerned about the customers. We have asked our catering service provider to investigate this matter. This incident happened on 17 September. We remain conscious about all our customers. We will ensure that no such incident happens in future. Food in Air India is supplied by reputed institutions, which are supplying food to many global airlines. Besides, adequate checking of food is also done by Air India.
