Ambati Rayudu and Suresh Raina on IPL 2025 Retention Rule: When will the mega auction of IPL 2025 take place, what will be the retention policy for it? So far the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has remained silent on all these topics. According to some media reports, BCCI may reveal the retention policy at the end of September. Now two former Indian cricketers Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu have shared a big statement on the mega auction.
Ambati Rayudu, who has played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL, said, “I believe that more players should be allowed to be retained because a franchise invests a lot of money on a player. The team becomes strong only with the main players and as long as there are main players, the team will remain strong. Retention should not be only for one or two. All the players who are most important in the team should be retained.”
On the other hand, Suresh Raina has also played for CSK for many years and he fully supported Rayudu’s statement. He said, “I agree with Rayudu 100 percent. Mega auction should be held every 3 years. Whatever decision the IPL officials take, it will be good for this game.”
Rayudu and Raina will play in Legends League Cricket
Ambati Rayudu and Suresh Raina will soon be seen playing in the Legends League Cricket (LLC 2024). This league will start from September 20, in which a total of 6 teams will be participating. Talking about Suresh Raina, he will play for the Ultimate Toyam Hyderabad team. At the same time, Ambati Rayudu has been selected in the Konark Suryaaj Odisha team. The excitement of this league will continue till October 16.
