Viraj Ghelani On Jawan Work Experience: Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ was released in 2023. The film made a record-breaking collection at the box office and proved to be a blockbuster hit. Now a year after the release of ‘Jawaan’, actor and content creator Viraj Ghelani, who was a part of the film, shared his experience of working in the film. Viraj called it his worst experience.
On The Having Said That Show, when Viraj Ghelani was asked about working in Atlee’s film, he said, “Don’t talk nonsense. Why did I do this? People are very sweet who watched the film for me but I watched your part. It was the worst experience I have ever had. See the thing is that they don’t believe you because they have Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan and two Shah Rukh Khans and all these things.”
How was the work culture on the set?
Viraj further said- ‘The work culture was like stand here, do this. There was this scene where in close up, I have a gun because I am a cop and then they go for a wide shot. Then I said that the prop guy has taken my gun. He said the gun will come to you, stand here. But the gun never came.’
‘Creators are cast only for clout…’
The actor said, ‘I just came and went. I was just like a blurred image in the background. I had proper dialogues. I shot for 10 days on Madh Island in the summer of May. I saw that the work we did in 15 days, they only did what we shot in the first 30 minutes of the first day. Creators are cast only for clout.’
