Pill Review: You must have seen bullets and abuses in most web series on OTT platforms, but it is rare that any good content is created without it and is liked by the people. Riteish Deshmukh has definitely confirmed with his OTT debut with ‘Pill’ that he has become a certified actor for Bollywood, Marathi cinema and now OTT.
Story
‘Pill’ completely shows the pharma industry and the irregularities in it. The story begins with the transfer of Ritesh Deshmukh’s character to the ‘Medicine Authority of India’. After this transfer, as soon as he goes to the new department, he comes to know about many scams and frauds going on in the pharma industry which pose a threat to the common citizens and he starts solving this mystery with which the story moves forward. A well-known pharma company is playing the role of a villain in this series.
how is the series
Ritesh Deshmukh and the makers of this Jio Cinema series have proved that apart from gang war, romance and nudity, a great story can be woven. The issues related to the pharma industry and patients raised in the series will make you feel that you were waiting for this kind of content. However, while the story has been woven in 8 episodes, it could have been wrapped up in 2-3 episodes less.
Acting
Along with Riteish Deshmukh, Pawan Malhotra, Akshat Chauhan and Anshul Chauhan will also be seen in ‘Pill’. Riteish Deshmukh will be seen in the role of Dr. Prakash, while opposite him you will see Pawan Malhotra in the role of CEO of a pharma company. Everyone’s acting is superb. Riteish Deshmukh has passed the exam of OTT debut. Apart from the two main characters, all the actors have understood the seriousness of the story and have done justice to the acting.

‘Pill’ is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. It would not be wrong to say that everyone has been given good screen time in the series. Every character has been given a chance to establish themselves. The story moves at the same pace from beginning to end and increases your curiosity with every episode.
