Due to which the whole family was shattered. She faced many difficulties like a rock and faced them bravely. This is the story of Garima Lohiya who lives in Buxar, Bihar.
UPSC exam is considered to be one of the toughest exams in the country. Hard work and dedication is required to pass this difficult exam. But when there is passion for a work, then even difficulties seem easy. Garima has done something similar. She has brought glory to the family by securing second rank in UPSC 2022.

Life had given a big shock to Garima. Her father passed away in 2015. Despite this, she did not lose courage. She prepared for UPSC while staying at home and did not take coaching. In the first attempt, she could not even clear the prelims. But she did not give up and studied day and night and then brought glory to the family.
Preparing by yourself
Garima was brought up in Buxar, Bihar. Garima, who always stood first in studies, obtained a degree in Accounts from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. During the Corona period, when the whole country had come to a standstill, Garima devoted herself to studies. With the help of online resources, she started preparing for UPSC.

Garima says that she studied at home and studied from 9 pm to 9 am. During this time, she completely focused on studies. She says that there is no shortcut to success. All that is needed is dedication and hard work. Garima’s story is an inspiration for lakhs of youth who are preparing for civil services. Her success proves that if one is determined, then any goal can be achieved.
