Therefore, this time the Champions Trophy can be organized under the hybrid model. Meanwhile, a former Pakistani cricketer Basit Ali has given an important reaction. He said that if there is any problem regarding security, then the Champions Trophy will not be organized here. Basit says that special attention will have to be paid to security in the series to be held before the Champions Trophy.
According to a report in the Times of India, Basit Ali has warned Pakistan. He said, “We have to take special care of security arrangements. Before the Champions Trophy, there is a series scheduled with England and West Indies. But if any incident happens during this time, the Champions Trophy will not be held. Our soldiers are being martyred in Balochistan and Peshawar. The government should answer why this is happening.”
Actually, a two-match Test series will be played between Bangladesh and Pakistan. The first match of this series will be held in Rawalpindi from 21 August.
