Indian Hockey Team visits Golden Temple: The Indian hockey team went to Paris Olympics 2024 with the hope of winning gold. But the team was successful in winning the bronze medal. Due to which a wave of happiness ran across the country. Now the Indian hockey team has returned home with this medal. The hockey team was welcomed with drums at Delhi airport. Now the members of the Indian hockey team reached Amritsar’s Golden Temple to pay obeisance. Where they were welcomed with flowers.
Indian hockey team welcomed with great pomp in Amritsar
The Indian hockey team was given a grand welcome on its arrival in Amritsar. On Sunday morning, when the players of the Indian hockey team arrived at the Amritsar airport, the scene there was very special. Many prominent personalities including Punjab Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Paliwal, Harbhajan Singh ETO, and MP Gurjeet Singh were present to welcome the players. Apart from the families of the players, hundreds of hockey lovers also gathered at the airport to welcome their favorite players. As soon as the players came out of the airport, they were showered with flowers and there was a wave of happiness all around.
The players and their families celebrated this happy occasion together. The players and their families went straight from the airport to the Golden Temple, where they bowed down to the gurus and sought their blessings.

Ajit Singh, father of Indian hockey team’s star player Sukhjeet Singh, expressed his happiness and said – “Our team may have won the bronze medal, but it is no less than a gold medal for us. When my son came to me and put his medal around my neck, my happiness knew no bounds. This is a proud moment for us, and I heartily congratulate the entire team for this great achievement. May God keep his blessings on them. Now all our wishes have been fulfilled and we are very happy that our players have brought glory to the country.”
