Expensive Uncapped Players IPL Auction 2025: On the second day of IPL 2025 mega auction, a lot of money has been showered on uncapped players. Many teams including Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals have shown faith in uncapped players. Meanwhile, some uncapped players also became millionaires on the second day of the mega auction.
1. Anshul Kamboj – 3.40 crore (CSK)
Anshul Kamboj plays for Haryana in domestic cricket. In the current season of Ranji Trophy, he created a sensation by taking all 10 wickets in a single innings against Kerala. He was seen playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024, where he took 3 wickets in 2 matches. He was bought by Chennai Super Kings in the mega auction for Rs 3.40 crore.
2. Gurnoon Brar – 1.30 crore (Gujarat Titans)
Gurnoon Brar is a right-arm fast bowler and plays for Punjab in domestic cricket. Gurnoon is about 6 and a half feet tall player and is capable of bowling at a speed of 145-150 km per hour. He was a part of the Punjab Kings squad in 2023, but has not been able to play his first match in the IPL till now. Now in the IPL mega auction, he has been bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 1.30 crore.
3. Arshad Khan – 1.30 crore (Gujarat Titans)
Arshad Khan is a left arm fast bowler, who plays for Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket. Arshad was a part of the Mumbai Indians squad in 2022-2023, while in 2024, Lucknow Super Giants included him in their team. Arshad has so far played 10 matches in his short IPL career, apart from scoring 101 runs, he has also taken 6 wickets. Arshad batted at a strike rate of more than 150 last season. Gujarat Titans has bought him for Rs 1.30 crore.
