IPL Auction 2025 Shocking Buys Players List: Before the start of IPL 2025 mega auction, all 10 teams together had retained 46 players. 1. Venkatesh Iyer – 23.75 crores (KKR)
Batting all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer was shocked when he was released from KKR. After that, in a viral interview, Iyer told that he is willing to go back to the Kolkata team. While Venkatesh got a salary of Rs 8 crore for playing the last season, this time Kolkata has bought him not for Rs 10 or 15 crore but for Rs 23.75 crore. 2. Arshdeep Singh – 18 crores (Punjab Kings)
When Arshdeep Singh was released, according to a report, the management of PBKS had said that Arshdeep could be sold for much less money than the top retention amount. Now the same Punjab Kings team has retained Arshdeep for Rs 18 crore. Punjab had given a salary of Rs 4 crore to Arshdeep for playing the last season. 3. Ravichandran Ashwin – 9.75 crore (CSK)
Ravichandran Ashwin started his IPL career for Chennai Super Kings. His cricket IQ is very good and his pairing with MS Dhoni will be ready to wreak havoc on the field again. CSK bought Ashwin in the mega auction for Rs 9.75 crore. Despite being a top player till now, Ashwin had received a salary of Rs 10 crore in IPL.
