Vaibhav Suryavanshi Debut Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024: 13-year-old Indian cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi came into limelight during the IPL 2025 mega auction, when Rajasthan Royals bought him for Rs 1.10 crore. He is now going to become the youngest player to play in the Indian Premier League, but before that he has set a new record. Vaibhav has now become the youngest player to play a List-A match. Let us tell you that he has made his List-A debut for Bihar in the match against Madhya Pradesh in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi played his first match for Bihar at the age of 13 years 269 days. In this matter, he has left behind Ali Akbar, who created history by making his List-3 cricket debut at the age of 14 years and 51 days in the 1999/2000 domestic season. Suryavanshi is breaking records after records as he has become the youngest player to play for Ranji Trophy and then for India’s Under-19 team.
As far as Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s debut match in Vijay Hazare Trophy is concerned, he was out after scoring only 4 runs in 2 balls. In this encounter, his team had to face a crushing defeat by 6 wickets. Bihar team could not even play full 50 overs in the match and managed to score only 196 runs on the scoreboard. Madhya Pradesh easily achieved the target of 197 runs with 24.5 overs remaining. For Madhya Pradesh, captain Rajat Patidar played 55 runs in 33 balls and wicketkeeper batsman Harsh Gawli played the match-winning innings of 83 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is leaving a mark all over India with his talent. In the Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup, he scored 176 runs in five matches at an excellent average of around 76.
